\u2018Riding a Vespa is something different than riding a motorbike, even different than riding a traditional scooter, riding a Vespa is riding a Vespa.That aesthetics all its own, that riding that always requires special attention, like for a capricious girlfriend, that sometimes forces you to tightrope walker manoeuvres to avoid being thrown off, make it even more desirable and loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How then could one not think of dedicating an out-of-the-ordinary tribute to her?
As the professional photographer that I am, I thought I\u2019d put my knowledge of photography to use to create the most authentic images possible of 1:18 scale Vespa models, starting with the first ones made in 1946, right up to the present day. I set them in all the regions of Italy, looking for a background for each region that was recognisable, or that recalled it for some reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the helm of these marvellous jewels, which have accompanied entire generations of Italians, was the undersigned in a miniature version, who, with a camera around his neck, would document their journey to leave a trace for posterity even when it is over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
